An area with passive houses in Glumslöv, just outside of Landskrona in the southern part of Sweden, consisting of 35 ground flats. The houses are extremely well insulated with 550 mm in the roof and four layers with a total of 470 mm in the walls. The houses are absolutely tight and built with great care. There are no heating systems in the houses, which means they are ”self heating”, using heat from the residents and the heat that is produced by electrical appliances. A recycling system for outward and inward air recycles about 85% of the energy.
